Open Access Policy
This section describes our open access model, including licensing terms, author rights, and how published articles are made freely available to the public for maximum dissemination and impact.
Open Access Model
All ScholarCentrix journals are fully open access, meaning:
- All articles are immediately available upon publication
- No subscription fees or access barriers for readers
- Authors retain copyright to their work
- Articles are published under Creative Commons licenses
Creative Commons Licensing
We use the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license as standard:
- Allows sharing, adaptation, and commercial use
- Requires appropriate attribution to the original author(s)
- Maximizes potential for dissemination and impact
- Authors may choose more restrictive licenses if preferred
Author Rights
Under our open access policy, authors retain:
- Copyright to their work
- Right to share their article immediately upon publication
- Right to deposit their article in institutional repositories
- Right to use their article in teaching and future publications
Article Processing Charges (APC)
To support open access publishing, we charge Article Processing Charges:
- APCs cover peer review, editing, production, and hosting
- Charges vary by journal and article type
- Waivers available for authors from low-income countries
- Discounts for members of partner institutions
Indexing and Discoverability
To maximize visibility, our articles are:
- Indexed in major databases (DOAJ, Google Scholar, Crossref)
- Assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs)
- Optimized for search engines
- Promoted through social media and academic networks
